it isn’t sunshine ……..
Not because I don’t like it but because it’s too easy of an answer.
I think my kind of weather is somewhere in between.
Cloudy, a little quiet. Not heavy rain, but the kind that feels like it might. The air is still, like the world has slowed down just enough for you to notice your own thoughts.
That’s the weather I like.
It matches how I move through life not loud, not extreme, but reflective. The kind of atmosphere where you don’t feel pressure to perform. Where you can just exist without explaining yourself.
Sunny days feel like expectations.
Storms feel overwhelming.
But that in-between? That’s honest.
It feels like music playing softly in the background. Like walking with no destination. Like thinking without needing answers right away.
Maybe it’s not really about the weather.
Maybe it’s about how it makes me feel: calm, present, and a little more like myself.
So if you ask me again, I won’t give you a typical answer.
I’ll just say this:
I like the kind of weather that lets me breathe.
